What to Expect
Our Rec Wrestling program is a fun, beginner-friendly introduction to the sport. Each session is 1 hour long and led by a head coach, with help from volunteer parent coaches.
Class Breakdown:
First 20 Minutes: The head coach will teach 1–2 basic moves. Parent volunteers will help small groups of about 10 kids practice the techniques.
Next 40 Minutes: Volunteers will help organize informal matches between kids within their groups, focusing on fun, effort, and good sportsmanship.
Parent Volunteers:
No wrestling experience is needed—just a willingness to help! Volunteers support the coach, keep kids engaged, and help create a safe, encouraging environment for all wrestlers.
